Job Description The Process Sedimentology Group at ExxonMobil Upstream Research Company (EMURC) seeks applicants for a technician position to operate, maintain, and help manage our experimental facilities.
The selected individual will work closely with EMURC scientists in the design, execution, and analysis of experimental geomorphology and stratigraphy. This will require detailed knowledge of topographic and hydraulic data collection and processing, computer software applications, and the integration of experimental hardware with computer control systems.
Applicants must have a minimum of a B.S. in Mechanical/Civil Engineering, or similar field, and should have a demonstrated aptitude for problem solving and developing innovative solutions to technical problems. Requirements also include appropriate computing and mechanical experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a team environment.
