ExxonMobils Medicine and Occupational Health department has openings for an Occupational Health Physician/Assistant Manager at its Medical Clinics in the Gulf Coast Region. Suitable candidates will have completed an occupational medicine residency with board certification and have some experience in manufacturing. Possession of MPH is desirable but not required. Applicants must be licensed (or be eligible to obtain a license) to practice medicine. The candidate will provide support to a petrochemical complex and report to the Occupational Health Manager.
Position entails providing oversight to a clinic in some of the following areas:
* Occupational Surveillance (Audiometry, Drug/Alcohol Screening, Pulmonary Function Testing, Respirator Fit Testing, Vision Testing, ECG, Phlebotomy)
* Travel Medicine
* Occupational Case Management
* On-Site Emergency Response
* Use of Electronic Medical Data SystemCandidates applying for the position should have critical thinking skills, problem solving skills, strong writing skills, strong computer skills (relational databases, spreadsheets, word processing), the ability to work well in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities, and be detail oriented.
